Our program thrives because of the incredible support of our parent and community volunteers. Whether you're interested in helping backstage, coordinating food, or chaperoning trips, there are many ways you can get involved!
1. Chaperone Trips & Competitions We welcome parent chaperones for our theatre trips and competitions throughout the year.
2. Join the Food Committee Productions are high-energy and long days—food helps fuel our performers and crew!
We’re looking for parent volunteers to help coordinate and provide meals for the cast during productions.

1. Chaperone Trips & Competitions We welcome parent chaperones for our theatre trips and competitions throughout the year.
- Volunteering is first come, first served, based on the needs of each specific trip.
- If you are staying overnight or will be alone with students at any point, you must become an Unsupervised Volunteer through Canyons School District.
- Visit the Canyons District Office and let them know you're chaperoning for Brighton Theatre.
- You’ll need to complete a background check and fingerprinting.
- This process must be completed at least one month before your first day with students.
- Your clearance must be renewed annually.
2. Join the Food Committee Productions are high-energy and long days—food helps fuel our performers and crew!
We’re looking for parent volunteers to help coordinate and provide meals for the cast during productions.
- We typically have one lead parent per show to organize the food schedule.
- This is a low-commitment role, usually requiring just one day of help per production.
